If you're not reading FireJoeMorgan.com...
...you are missing out.
Basically this site picks apart the stupid things that columnists say (one sports analyst in particular) in the most hilarious way possible. It really shows the disparity sometimes between sports analysts "having a feeling" or "thinking they know something" and having it not at all backed up by the corresponding stats.
My highlight for Friday nights is when they post the new Joe Morgan chat, complete with comments. It just went up. I can't stop laughing, something MUCH needed after the last few days.
Thought I'd share. I don't think they are A's fans, per say, but they totally recognize the value of our team and the inherrent worthlessness of Joe Morgan for reliable baseball anaysis.
Read up! Submit your own! (I swear I don't work for their site!)

BBG
Friends: "Come to the movies with us. You'll have fun."
Me: "Are you guys crazy?????? Danny Haren is pitching TONIGHT against the Yankees. It's SEPTEMBER. Don't you know what that means???"
Friends: <blank faces>
Me: "Pennant race?? First place?? Yank.... eh, never mind. I can't go. I'm watching the game."
Friends: "Why do you always get like this in September???? Is it a disease?? Like, you're not allowed to have a life in September?"
Me: "No, it's NOT a disease. It's an addiction."
Do I really have no life?
Now I have to deal with the Joe Morgan thing. Yet another thing that will keep me on the computer, laughing my head off while my mother stares at me thinking about putting me in a psych ward. For this, I thank you BBG. :)

I love it
My favorite part
That was great...
I can see this happening in everyday life:
"I'd like the No. 4, super-sized please. And the A's win despite Billy Beane."
"Officer, you can't always trust that speed radar gun -- Billy Beane invented it. And he also wrote the California DMV guidebook just to get attention, even though he was never a good driver."
