GLYNN, LET'S GO!!
I can't stand nibblers. That's how you lose big. You can usually recover from a solo.

Byrnes nearly won the game...
by baseballgirl on Jun 22, 2005 11:27 PM PDT up reply actions
well, at least
of course crosby was the main culprit, to be sure, and he didn't do much offensively, whereas byrnes came through.
Incorrect
by MonkeyBoy on Jun 22, 2005 11:37 PM PDT up reply actions
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT
didn't see it
Absolutely
The worst part is how utterly predictable it is
what are you talking about?
by baseballgirl on Jun 22, 2005 11:23 PM PDT up reply actions
Oh.
Well...
F***
by baseballgirl on Jun 22, 2005 11:26 PM PDT up reply actions
I think you're a good, smart fan bballgirl
On the bright side,
i can't take this
What in gods name happened to Crosby??
You know he feels terrible though
1)no sac fly
2)double play with bases loaded
3)misplays Sexson grounder
4)botched "perfect" DP
how could it possibly be worse.
I still love him though...

Well...
by secret ASian man on Jun 22, 2005 11:24 PM PDT reply actions
a LOT of things went wrong tonight.
Saarloos needs to pitch his butt off tomorrow.
We need the 3 out of 4...
One more chance at it, then we go for the Giants sweep.
Anything less than a W tomorrow
Geez...this was painful.
We really need to bounce back and win tomrrow afternoon. Shake this one off and get the series tomorrow.
As for me tomorrow, I'll be recovering in the happiest place on earth, DISNEYLAND! So, stay strong this weekend AN! Cheer the A's on to a series win in Seattle and a sweep over the BALCO Gnats!!!

You know
I just hate it when he does poorly:(

How am I gonna be able to sleep tonight?
HA!

I'm with you on that one
by OaktownTribesman on Jun 22, 2005 11:30 PM PDT up reply actions
No, his speech is sad.
We'd better win tomorrow.
by baseballgirl on Jun 22, 2005 11:34 PM PDT up reply actions
i'm just sad
also, f*ck eric byrnes. trade his ass for a bag of peanuts and a prospect. he gives back every run he hits off of lefties. every. damn. one.
I TIVO'ed it twice...
We almost won today because of Byrnes' triple and clutch double. Blame Bobby Crosby if you're going to blame ANYONE for defense tonight.
The game was over at Ichiro.
by baseballgirl on Jun 22, 2005 11:33 PM PDT up reply actions
i do blame bobby
byrnes defense in pressure situations seems to completely disintigrate, and while his bat against lefties is really great, i dont know that that alone outweighs what he costs in the field at times.
by Ryan Armbrust on Jun 22, 2005 11:45 PM PDT up reply actions
Seriously though..
Lay off Byrnes
And for the record, Byrnes was worth two runs tonight.
i know

by baseballgirl on Jun 22, 2005 11:36 PM PDT up reply actions
hey, on this one, we just lost a close game
It happens. all kinds of things could have led to a win, but that's just baseball. I wouldn't have said this 30 days ago.
our guy crosby just had a bad game in the field. sh...happens.
Can I borrow some of your meds?
