Moneybutt 3: Hinder Pot Luck / Open Thread

1. We add our own photos/URL/whatever on the other site?
   
2. And you said "No entities from the last round," right? Why are there A's players up?
   
3. Anything can be posted?

And any man who doesn't have Catherine Zeta undefeated has problems.

You go to the form from the link under your name "add entity" and remember to hit the submit button. You'll know it works when the page tells you it's been accepted... the name will also show up on the list at the bottom.

If you have trouble, post the link here and I'll add it for you.

When I get around to it, I'll also have the program track who added which entity...

1. Great submissions, everyone. I'm amazed the quality of the submissions has been so high. I thought by now some idiot would have tried to mess things up.
   
2. I did nuke that PG-17 picture of Anna Benson. In the future I'll make it easier to flag questionable submissions... for now this thread is what we have.
   
3. I put in a fix for the Submit bug. I submitted successfully on Netscape 7 and IE 5.1 for Mac, as well as Omniweb (so Safari should work).

1. That's a lot of votes. We have racked up about 38,000 votes so far in less than a day. Hinderlord took 2 and a half days to get there. I have 12GB of bandwidth. So far Moneybutt 2 and one day of Hinderpotluck has eaten about 3 GB of it. I think I can survive the weekend.
2. I'm hoping to leave this up for the weekend. Hinderpotluck traffic should slow down considerably, if the past is a guide. If it gets too close to my bandwidth limit (unlikely), I'll close it down.
3. Sometimes the site got slow. I don't know why... when traffic is clear, several of us can vote simultaneously without problems and the page is taking less than a second to compute, even tracking all the votes and new entities. Right now it is humming, which for me makes it 100x more addictive... I hit Submit and the next choice pops up and my brain starts evaluating it before my hand can close the window.
4. Improvements.
   

• I added little Google bugs to the pictures so I could figure out who half these new entities are.
  
• Because of the hacky way I first threw this together, it took some work to edit and merge entities. It's much easier now.
  
• I fixed a bug which allowed pairs to repeat once. Now you should never see a pair repeated.
  
• Since no one besides Jennifer noticed or complained, I'm leaving in the "feature" where all pictures are scaled to the same width, even though it does make some pictures look blocky.

5. Thanks for everyone's great additions. That has made this round of Hinderpotluck way more fun for myself than the previous two. I've really enjoyed the surprises. I've voted more this round than the last two combined.
6. If people have any requests or suggestions for this round or the future, I'm all ears. This thread is the place for it. You did notice you can get directly to this thread via the third link under your name in Hinderpotluck, right? I don't feel like opening more diaries.

I added two little links to each picture. Now you can

• google the entity in a new window (as before)
  
• see the original unscaled picture in a new window
  
• report a bad picture, either for lewdness or dysfunction.
