Excuse things around here as we celebrate Maya, the newest addition to the A's Fan Club.

Blez will be back soon (probably Saturday) with the second installment of his killer interview with Billy Beane. Until then, you're going to have to make do with diaries and baby pictures.

And as a friend of Blez's, I can confirm that yes -- outside of work -- he only wears A's gear.

I have three younger sisters and a goddaughter and let me tell you, growing up around all that spit up is not.... pleasurable. When my sister was 4 (past that stage), I had another one. When that one was 4, my mom had another one. And now that she's 3, my goddaughter was born. sigh many more years to come.

Blez- you're baby is adorable. I can't wait to see her in a Zito jersey!! :) Best wishes to your wife (she looks exhausted) and help her out. She's gonna need it. It gonna take you some getting used to holding the baby. Nice shot (the thrid picture). :)
