Came across an interesting read after watching my favorite NL team (the Braves) beat the Cubs behind Tim Hudson. Though he's been in Atlanta longer than he ever was in Oakland, most A's fans I talk to still speak highly of him. I enjoyed his time here, always fun to see a "bulldog" type pitcher succeed

Not to be an ass, as I'm a fan of much larger sample sizes than this (and do wish Chris well), but check the line on Carter's first 11 AB's: 7K's and nuttin' else. We'll get a closer look tomorrow.

I came across this article on Baseball Think Factory. John D'Acquisto talks about his time with the 1982 A's and playing for Billy Martin. It's a long read but I enjoyed it.
