Andrew Bailey is up for Best Rookie and Michael Wuertz is up for best set-up man. They are the only A's up for any of the votes.

Kiley McDaniel tweeted earlier today that the A's are an interested bidding party for Noel Arguelles.

In my mind this begs two questions:

1) Are we SERIOUSLY involved in bidding for him and/or Aroldis Chapman?

2) Who is this guy? A quick google search turns up nothing.

Looks like Hudson will not become a free agent.

Anyone know anything about this guy?

I really hope that we all end up voting for Wally Cornelius as the #43 choice in the annual prospects poll. I think he's a beacon of light and hope shining from the deep fetid bowels of our farm system. His blood alcohol level is always less than the square root of his UZR, which is essential, unless you want to have some sort of Miguel Cabrera bulls**t on your hands.

There was a lot of enthusiasm about this guy on AN earlier this year. His signing bonus is the largest ever to a position player from Latin America (except Cuba), but it's not as much as the A's gave to Ynoa.

Featuring Canseco, Stewart, McGwire, the birth of the Bash, and, unavoidably, Eck on giving up Gibson's homer.

I have mixed feeling watching this video. Swisher having fun and celebrating their division title with the Yankees. On the one hand, I'm happy for Swisher and hope he continues to have success, on the other hand, I envy him, wishing that he was celebrating with the A's.

If anyone was at the game or can ID the guy () who got the ball, perhaps shame would motivate him to change his tune.

His cost/benefit analysis is waaaay off. Last I checked, $1 is still infinitely greater than $0. Good luck selling Matt Carson's 1st HR ball on eBay. I'm sure Marc Ecko will win the bid.
