I was approached by the A's via Twitter, due to my use of different social media outlets to promote the A's, to throw out the first pitch at the game on Tues. April 16, 2013. It was nerve-wracking but definitely an honor.
Less than a month away from the annual Rule IV first year player draft, but that's not important. What IS important is that 5 days before that the annual Community Mock Draft, led by John Sickels, happens. I'll be handling the A's drafting duties but I'll need someone to help out
Hey everyone, just posted this over at minorleagueball.com. I looked at past drafting tendencies of the A's, and used it to predict what type of player they would pick with their five picks in the first three rounds. I then matched this up to my personal draft board. I would love some good discussion on this. So come on over!
Addison Russell, Daniel Robertson, Matt Olson, Max Muncy, Renato Nunez, Michael Ynoa & more…
#Athletics acquire OF Casper Wells from #BlueJays for cash. A 25-man roster move will be made once Wells reports to Boston.

Awesome video about the 2012 A's...can't...stop...watching. Re-posting this fanshot by Bernie Lean as a video fanshot
Came across an interesting read after watching my favorite NL team (the Braves) beat the Cubs behind Tim Hudson. Though he's been in Atlanta longer than he ever was in Oakland, most A's fans I talk to still speak highly of him. I enjoyed his time here, always fun to see a "bulldog" type pitcher succeed
