NEW AN shirt designs - pick a winnah

Hey AN -
it's been way too long, so here are a few ideas for new shirt designs. Here's a few things we came up with, pick a favorite. Or make a suggestion to change one of these and see if everyone jumps on yer bandwagon. Just remember we can't use anything with player's likenesses or anything else that MLB would claim as their property (which entails more than any of us would like to believe.)
Your brief input is appreciated. So thanks for taking time out from wiping yer brow (if yer melting in the heat today, as i am) to click yer mouse a few times...

I think it would look better

if they were a solid color. Either White, Gold or Green, but the sleves look ugly like that.

by Zonis on May 7, 2007 3:33 PM PDT reply actions

I agree

Solid color would be best.

Yep. Warm and fuzzy... that's me.

Dont like the sleeves

And none of the 4 do much for me....Seems like trying to fit too much on a shirt.

Bring back Hammer.

Yeah, the MoneyBlog one especially...

has too much.  Some people don't like their chests to be stared at, up-close by strangers, for as long as it would take to read that shirt...  :P

honestly

I scrolled past that one kinda quick and I thought it said MonkeyBlog.  We love monkeyball, but I was wondering why no one else gets a shirt.

death to myspace!

by malikot on May 8, 2007 9:27 AM PDT up reply actions

Ditto.

T-shirts work best when they're simple.

I'd take one with a logo and nothing else.

For example, this:

The Kendall Shift: 6 infielders and 2 catchers.

I like Days on DL best

but Slogans is good too.  Not sure why VORB seems to be illustrated with a picture of Ira Glass.

I like the baseball-style raglan sleeve style myself.  I have a bunch of AN shirts -- Wear It and In Billy We Trust -- but my overwhelming favorite is the Bill King jersey, not only because of the excellent design, but the excellent quality of the shirt itself -- the green and gold lightweight cotton.  It would be great to use that shirt vendor again if they're still available.  You're probably thinking of the gray body shirt so that the green and gold AN logo shows up better, but sometimes less is more.

And for the future, let me also plug a suggestion I made a while ago in a DLD, I think -- an Official NRAF Shirt.

In Beelly ve-a troost. Bork Bork Bork!

by Englishmajor on May 7, 2007 4:02 PM PDT reply actions

that green/gold jersey..

unfortunately is not in production anymore. I think we got the last of their stock with the king tees.

bummer

Oh, I like We're Always Day-to-Day too.

What's all this talk about Days on the DL?

If you're on the Down Low, shouldn't you be more discreet about it?  Wouldn't wearing that shirt, uh,  blow your cover?

Not that there's anything wrong it.
