Apparently our bullpen is not allowed to come in before the fifth inning. Zito goes 5, allows four runs, and is very lucky it wasn't more.
Frank Thomas continues his awesomeness, and Mini-Frank and Franchise also homered.
A's leading 6-4, but it's not enough. Once again, we need our offense to be Texas', since our starting pitching already is.

But about leaving Zito in, c'mon. If Macha followed AN's advice, every starter would go 4 innings and then be "batter to batter"--and all our relievers would be on the DL, tired, or ineffective, while Witasick and Sauerbeck would be getting the high-leverage innings.
