I remember
when the Mariners used to be the better defensive team...ichiro cameron and winn in the outfield with Olerud and Boone.....

Beltre is a great fielder, 2nd best fielding 3rd basemen in my opinion, but damn it hurts when the mariners rob you, historically.

they'd used up all the bizarre ways to win last year, but apparently that was just all the bizarre ways to win with Kendall and home plate.  This year is even better.  There's just no way that any team in baseball is as exciting as the A's.
