Hats off to Hatteberg...one more time
I am so happy for the guy. He didn't give up after the A's passed him by. He signed with Cinci, worked his way into the starting lineup, who knows how. Must be those intangibles....And now he opens the season with a 3-run bomb! YES! GO HATTE! I know he isnt an A anymore, but I just thought that was great, maybe not a "diary of substance," but I am cerrtainly gonna miss him. I always felt he didnt reach his potential in oakland, but then I look at stats and remember I'm incredibly biased. Anyway, here's to a good full season of ABs for the mad hatter.

Haha, I was just about to post about this.
I heart him, but it's good to know that Dad's rockin' it old school in Cinci.
He followed his HR with a walk. :-) He's still playing Oakland ball!
"No. It's Oakland."
NOBODY puts Hatty in a corner!
knowing Zambrano...
Where was that with the A's
Good for him.

I don't know about opening night...
Just goes to show
That's all well and good
Be more concerned with..
a) He was my (real) team's opening day starter
b) He was my (fantasy) team's third pick.
You are asking for a long long year, either way.
Yeah,

Good for him.
We're just loaning him to the Reds.
This diary title ...
Ex A's everywhere
Miggy and Hatty went deep;
Huddy strikes out Olmedo to end a threat in the first;
Two walks today for Hatty.
"No. It's Oakland."
Facials!
Um ...

I was at the game
And, by the way, Dunn made 1 error and horribly misplayed 2 balls that, in total, led to at least 5-6 runs. And I was defending him, saying he wasn't that bad a fielder!
I still don't see why...
I was there!!
P.S. The Dunn error (which really should've been about 5 errors) were HORRIBLE. They absolutely should've been caught. I sat right behind the left field foul pole... poor Dunn didn't have too good of a day. The first week of the season is really which team sucks the least, not which team is necessarily the best =) HAHA.
