Triumphant Return! Daily Link Dump 8/19/05
People, people, people. It's the day after an off-day, which means lot's of fluff and human interest pieces. And of course, Ratto.
I feel sad that as soon as positive press about the A's stopped, so too did the Daily Link Dump. We're still up in the wildcard race, are about to take on the worst team in the league, and the Angels get to take on Big Papi, Manny being Manny, and the ghost of Derek Lowe.
Let's get this started! Daily Link Dump:
Ratto tells us how sorry the Royals are, and why they might just steal a victory.
Fluff pieces on the resurrection of Jay Witasick, the revelation of Jay Payton, and the resuscitation of the Little Engine that Could. (The last one is not a very good article.)
In case you want to know who cleared waivers, why the '79 A's weren't as bad as you think, and what a Jason Grabowski Haiku would sound like, check out this article.
Okay guys, now it's your turn. Don't let me down!

New Ronny McLand video
Finally showing the video of the interview on MLB. Too bad I am at work and on a computer that doesn't have a speaker (and I have no headphones)! Anyone able to somehow capture the video so we can download and keep it?

Notwithstanding its horrible typing/spelling errors, MBB has some fascinating stuff. Definitely off the beaten track.
