Pitch wise,
that was Blanton's best inning.  1 single, 3 outs 10 pitches.  Maybe he's found his groove.  I'd let him start the sixth and go from there.

If you can guarnantee that, I'm down.
But you can't.  You assume that some else will come in and mow down the Rangers 1,2,3.  Yabu is likely the one to come in, and I don't see him doing that.  Give the kid another chance, he gives up a hit pull him.  Show some confidence in the guy, you might be surprised what he shows.

P.S. Street "may or may not be available tonight," so that factors into Mach's thinking. But Witasick, Duke, and Calero (plus Yabu, Rincon, and Kennedy) should all be ok.
