The Oakland A’s activated outfielder Rajai Davis from the 10-day disabled list, the team announced Tuesday. He’d been out with a strained hamstring, and last played on April 20. The A’s already had an open spot on their 25-man roster, so no corresponding move was needed.
If you’re feeling like the A’s have made a lot of roster moves lately, that’s because they have. In fact, dating back to April 15, the A’s have made at least one move involving the MLB club on 10 out of 18 days — and that’s not including the day when they acquired outfielder Ryan LaMarre from the Angels. Here’s a quick rundown (click the date to see the full AN coverage):
- April 15: Option OF Mark Canha, recall OF Jaff Decker
