What if every baseball player was built like Bartolo ColonThe results are incredible.

Hardball Talk's Matthew Pouliot is unhappy with the Astros' recent shenanigans.

Rejoice! The transfer rule has been changed for the better.

Ken Rosenthal also discussed the rule change.

Susan Slusser updates us on A.J. Griffin's elbow condition, and it does not sound promising.

Will Leitch is not a member of Bo Porter's fan club. A multitude of writers seem to be unhappy with Porter's antics.

Grant Brisbee shares the same line of thought as Pouliot and Leitch, and also provides us with some commentary on unwritten rules.

Steven Goldman also looks at the alterations made to the transfer rule. Those changes will be in effect tonight.

MLB.com's Spencer Fordin published this statement on the rule.

Tonight's minor league games include Arnold Leon pitching for Sacramento and Drew Granier for Midland.

On this day a year ago, the A's lost for the sixth time in seven games. After taking an early 2-0 lead, Jarrod Parker turned in yet another poor start. His ERA rose to an ungodly 8.10, but after allowing four runs in each of his next two starts, he allowed no more than three over his next 13 outings and his ERA dipped all the way to 3.58.

Tonight's starting lineup has been posted. Yoenis Cespedes will not play, so Brandon Moss will be in left field and Daric Barton will handle the duties at first base.
