A's Ticket Question for Fenway park

Hi All, I'm going to knock Fenway park off my bucket list in early May, to see the A's, of course. These questions go out to all you A's fans living in Boston (I know you're out there! ;) )

1) My usual habit is to buy tickets off StubHub real close to gameday (usually the day of) for games at the Coliseum and at Phone Booth Park, because they're usually cheaper, unless it's a giveaway day. Is this even plausible at Fenway? ie what's the best way to go about getting tickets?

2) There seem to be a number of bar options close to Fenway, which is the best? (I'll leave the criteria of "best" to your discretion)

3) Should I take the Fenway park tour or use the time to sit in one of the bars from #2 instead?

Thanks in advance!
