First off let me introduce myself. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I recently moved to the Los Angeles area after living in the Bay Area for the past 10+ years. I'm a big time sports fan especially Bay Area teams, but the A's have been my "team" for quite some time. While I typically attend 10-20 games a season at the O.co, I have never been to an A's game outside of the safe confines of the Coliseum and the occasional trek into AT&T park (although as I type this I realize I have made two treks to Spring Training, but never to another teams stadium).
Hungry for live A's baseball, I will be attending the A's-Angels (I mean slegnA) game on 7/19 and as a regular follower on this site I know there are many others who go to Angels games frequently. I'm curious for any advice on good places to eat both inside and outside the stadium, tips on tailgating-I read there is no alcohol permitted in the parking lots, but perhaps some of you have found work arounds, and any other general advice for a first-time visitors to glegnA Stadium (like how are A's flag waiving generally received there).
Also, if any of you are going to the game, I'll be in section 432. Feel free to stop by and say hey. I hope to become more active on this site as this is soon to become my one outlet for A's talk and I have enjoyed being an (outside) member of this community.
