Has Norris really shortened his swing and will it make a difference?

When asked about his strong Spring Norris said he had shortened his swing. The hope is that a quicker bat will produce more consistent contact through the hitting zone. His contact rate in the strike zone last year was nearly league average, which is decent for a power hitter, but the quality of that contact was poor -- he had a massive infield fly ball rate.

But I haven't seen Norris play this Spring. If you have, is his swing noticeably shorter than last year? Is he avoiding a slew of pop-ups to the infield? Do you think it will lead to a better contact, a more acceptable batting average and restore the sort of plate discipline who showed in the minor leagues?
