Good morning all, and Happy Friday to you! I have escaped to Phoenix for the weekend, where I am soaking in the sun, the drinks, and the A's. Today's recap will include what we saw live, so it might actually be more helpful than, "Some play happened, and someone is on third base--no first--no third, but we have no idea how he got there." Or maybe it won't be helpful. Either way. At least I'll tell you how everyone looks.

In case you didn't hear, Brett Anderson is going to start the season opener for the A's. And I've been saying that I'm going to throw an A's opening night party in Los Angeles, but I think I'm really going to do that. So if you live in the SoCal area, look for a post!
