After watching a great game at the Coliseum, I couldn't help but feel disappointed that everyones favorite player #19 Jemile Weeks wasn't played. After being sent down to triple A in late August to Sacramento, Weeks was brought up fairly quickly. He played very well in Sacramento but has rarely been played lately. What i'm wondering now is if Weeks will ever be brought back to his former status and starting every game as he had in the past. The A's played both Rosales and Pennington today but did not play Jemile. My question is why Rosales over Weeks? Both have about a 220 AVG. but at least Weeks can run fast. Neither of them are particularly keen at fielding either but I feel Weeks is ready to improve after being sent his wake up call.
