Welcome to another edition of A's baseball - this is my first game thread ever, as apparently BBG can't do 6 game threads every week. Slacker!
I hope you all took some time to relax on our rare Sunday off-day. Hopefully the Baseball Gods will be good to us and allow tonight's game to happen. Currently the weather forecast looks promising, following a stormy day in Cleveland - 74, cloudy, but not raining. If we can avoid Ray Fosse Rain Delay Theater, we'll all be better off.
A's swept the Indians on streak weekend, in convincing fashion. Hopefully this streak will continue. The Indians come into this series on a horrible slide, 1-9 in their last 10 (beating the Yankees on Saturday). Brett Anderson looks to follow up his otherworldly 2012 debut against The Artist Formerly Known as Fausto Carmona.
