So I'm in Orlando on vacation and realized a month or so ago that our guys are playing in Tampa the same weekend I'm here for a convention (semi-drat!). Being a semi-diehard (fielder's choice package for a decade in the LF bleachers count?) and a fan that likes to visit other stadiums when the chances arise, I decided I had to go somehow. (Tampa is only an hour away from Orlando) Looking through my schedule, I decided Friday night was where I could fit it in.

My question for the peeps here ..

Has anyone been to the Trop? Outside of price, is there any difference between the 'Party Deck' in LF and regular outfield seats? (sight lines, ambiance, etc) I think those are my two target areas, price-wise (under $30). Should I pre-purchase tickets or is their Friday night walk up situation similar to ours? Or should I post this up in DRaysBay for their recommendations? Or are there any local A's fans that wouldn't mind some company at the game? :)
