Game Thread 103 - A's vs. Rays

Stay connected for news and updates

Yes, I'm still starting tonight. I'm amazed, too.

After the walkoff snoozeoff early this morning, the A's and Rays will attempt to finish this one in regulation tonight. Well, hopefully for the A's, it's an 8.5 inning affair where they grab an early lead against Rays' starter James Shields. Remember that game last year, where Shields gave up a 10-spot to the A's? I'm hoping for a repeat of that. Except maybe Eric Sogard will hit an HR instead of Ryan Sweeney.

Tommy HomeMilone will be on the hill for the A's tonight. I'm expecting no less than 110 pitches from him tonight, else it's going to be the Jim Miller and Evan Scribner show.

Lineups, via baseballpress.com. George Kotteras makes his A's debut as the A's finally face an RHP. Also note that Brandon Inge is taking the day off for the first time in forever.
