I love how this team is playing right now. But given the nature of the young team, I have to think, what if we hit another slump, like another 9 game skid, can we still recover?

Right now we are 52-44, losing 9 straight would make it 52-53. In order to get 89 wins and have a good shot at the WC, we then need to go 37-20 the rest of the way, winning at a 64.9% clip. Is it possible? Looking at A's June/July record, it's 30-15, a 66.7% clip, so they would have to be just as good as they are now for the rest of the way, to overcome a bad stretch like the 9 game losing stretch

I expect that we will hit some kind of bump down the road, I hope it's not as devastating as the 9 game skid, but the way the team is playing now gives me confidence that they can overcome a lot of adversity.
