Well, the A's are at it again! Coming off last night's seemingly-effortless win, A.J. Griffin and the A's will try to make it seven in a row by defeating Ricky Romero tonight in Toronto. The A's are a lofty eight games over the .500 mark; four games ahead of the Blue Jays for the second Wild Card spot. There was no A's trade activity today, so it will be the same players, still clinging to the magic of July, taking the field. Cliff Pennington did not travel with the team, and I'm still convinced that the A's badly need a shortstop.
Only two Brandons will make an appearance; Chris Carter is in the lineup against the lefty Romero, and everyone is hoping that Jemile can turn his season around batting in the 9 hole.
