I have a concern that the A's are looking at a very bleak future. I am basing that in part on the new CBA which restricts rule 4 and IFA spending, the never ending stadium issue, and perhaps more importantly, what I sense is a complete willingness on the part of management/ownership to accept mediocrity. I do not live in Oakland or even in California, but I have followed the team for many years (back to Charles O. Finley) and hope I am missing some positive vibe somewhere. Please feel free to enlighten or correct my concerns.
