Happy Friday and welcome to the Bay Bridge Series! Our A's, fresh off a sweep of the team with the best record in the National League, will be taking on the Giants tonight in a match-up of Jarrod Parker and Tim Lincecum. Lincecum's struggles have been well-documented this year, but he is/was/has been at one point one of the best pitchers in the NL, so the A's will have to work for every run they get tonight. Parker will be facing the Giants in front of a big crowd (I hope), after lasting just two innings his last start against them.
The lineup tonight is my favorite one of the season, with the exception of Suzuki, but I'm glad he's in there to work with Parker tonight. Let's root hard for the A's out of the gate and hope they beat the Giants!
LET'S GO OAK-LAND!
