This includes Castro and Lahair.

This is where the A's come in. We need Castro, he is a very good young SS. Pennington will be arb eligible after this season, and let's be honest, who cares? Pennington is a straight up average player who can't hit over a .700 OPS in a full season. He never will, its just who he is. Castro has so much potential and is cheap and young. The best part is that the Cubs said "Castro can be obtained for two impact prospects". The A's have too many prospects and I have no problem giving up 2 of them for a proven Castro.

Same goes for Lahair. Kila is nice and a great backup, but he isn't starting 1B material. Lahair is. He is someone who can be the 1B of the future for the A's. Give up what it takes to get him.
