FanPost

My new smarts on the Fanpost, and Mr. Offseason is born, and getting to know me

Hey everybody, I'm athleticsperson01, and I'm here to talk to you ANers about my first strike on Athletics Nation. Note, by the way, I'm not trying to rebel against this community, I just wasn't fully aware of what a Fanpost consisted of. I just remembered one time that you needed seventy-five words to publish something on this website, apparently not a Fanpost. Thanks to the Nico for telling me via e-mail about the issue. So, maybe this was considered strike two? Anyway, if you're having trouble writing a Fanpost, it doesn't hurt to ask for help, through game threads, or even just writing to the front page writers. They are here to help you. On to my next part of my Fanpost, this offseason, I want to put my mark on this site, eventually writing game threads for the A's games. These writers right now, by the way are doing a great job, and I believe I can contribute to this community. Back to the subject, I don't know if I'm officially crowned Mr. Offseason, but this can be year one. My whole purpose is to keep ANers updated on the A's trade acquisitions this year. Finally, I like to say one more time, I'm not trying to rebel against this community, so I want to say how nice of a guy, I am (don't worry you don't have to read this part.) I'm probably one of the youngest writers here, just hitting young adulthood, this year. I've been an A's fan since 2002, and been to several games to the Coliseum in my 10 years of fan-dom. So, yes, I'm a diehard fan, and continue to watch my team, even though they struggle. I always manage to think about all the positives of the season, no matter how bad it might be.
