Just read the Tigers released Brandon Inge. Not like he's the long-term solution, but I'm pretty sure he'd bring a better stick than Hughes, Sogard, Donaldson and the other scrubs the A's have plugged in at third base. He does have some pop and may add a nice veteran presence to a pretty young infield.

If I were Billy Beane, I'd try to get this guy. Of course, I'm sure the A's will likely stay the course w/their current under-performing duo of Hughes and Sogard. Ugh.
