I am asking a serious question. Will the A's ever have a game where they recognize Jose Canseco?? We have seen the A's advertise the bobble-head for Rollie Fingers. The A's have done other promotions in honor of former star players,. Its only a matter of time that they promote players from the late 80s (I can recall a Dave Stewart Shirt??).

Of course Canseco is by no means an honorable character. He is not in the same category of former great as Fosse, Stewart, Henderson, Fingers. However, I am wondering will time heal old wounds and will there come a day when the A's recognize Cansco?? He was a huge star in the game for several years an important player on a championship team.

I will tell you, if they gave out a Canseco promotion it would attract attention. My guess is that eventually yes the A's will do something to recognize Canseco.

Lastly, which player from the 1999-2006 era do you think will be the first to have some sort of promotional/ honoring night? My guess is Mulder or Giambi
