On April 17th the A's are required to add a fifth starter to their rotation. And all fingers point to Tyson Ross who has a 0-1 record with a 4.00 ERA in nine innings for Sacramento. To add, he's given up 10 hits on four runs with three walks.
Even though his numbers aren't the best, Ross will more than likely get the call before Tuesday -- resulting in a demotion of one of the guys on the 25-man roster. So my question is who do you expected to get the boot very soon?
Is it safe to say Kila Ka'aihue is the odd man out; considering the release of Brandon Allen? And can the A's afford to send Ka'aihue down since he to is out of options, and it would also affect Oakland's depth at first base.
Or is it possible that Seth Smith, Eric Sogard, or Josh Reddick makes the trip to Triple-A? Let me know who your pick is and explain how that move will ultimately benefit or effect the team.
