Well, Cespedes literally stole the A's first run of the game, and "Petaluma Power" Gomes knocked in two runs with a homerun (that's three, count 'em, three runs for the A's), which is one more run than the Royals have scored, as Brandon McCarthy loaded the bases for Butler in the fifth, but wiggled out.
We go to the bottom of the 5th, 3-2 A's.
