In other news, the A's won the game today, Sogard had three of the hits; and the RBI's were scatted up and down the lineup; Cowgill, Reddick, Kila, Suzuki, Donaldson and Green (with the homerun in the 8th).
Brandon McCarthy almost pitched 5 innings; allowing four hits and two runs (striking out three). Blevins finished the fifth, and Balfour pitched a perfect sixth (with one K). Carignan and Castro pitched a scoreless 7th and 8th inning and Scribner (his name almost says "scrub") gave up the Rockies last two runs.
But did I mention that Cespedes starts tomorrow!?
