For only $25 enjoy Lower Box Seats for Rollie Fingers Bobblehead Day

The Chinatown Youth Center Initiative | "The Spot" (www.thespotoakland.org) is a newly-opened collaborative youth center dedicated to helping youth and young adults get ready for their futures. The Spot is located at 299 13th Street.

The Spot is hosting a fundraising game with the A's on Saturday, April 21st 6:05pm, the same day as Rollie Fingers Bobblehead Day and 40th Anniversary of the 1972 World Series Champions!

The seats are $25 for the Lower Box seats (which are normally priced at least $30). A portion of each ticket sold goes to The Spot. The seats for all games will be in Lower Box Section 107 rows 7 through 12 (first base side, great foul ball territory). There's no limit to the number of tickets we can sell provided that it does not sell out, so we hope even if you are already a season ticket holder or have other plans that you could pass the word to your friend and family that are A's fans.

If you cannot attend but would still like to support, you could also sponsor tickets for youth to attend, or we hope you would consider making a tax deductible donation directly to The Spot here

INSTRUCTIONS TO PURCHASE TICKETS:

  • Tickets can be ordered through Fundraising Committee Chair Michael Lok, mlok@thespotoakland.org, 510-874-5527. The Spot will not guarantee tickets on gamedays. We need a final count on tickets two weeks before gameday and the longer you wait decreases the chance that you could get seats that are all next to each other. As gameday gets closers, Michael will follow-up to confirm your order.
  • Tickets can be purchased via Cash or Check (Checks made payable to Michael Lok).
  • These will be physical tickets, so you will need to either (1) provide a mailing address, or (2) pick them up before gameday from Michael in Downtown Oakland, otherwise we will leave the ticket under you name at Will Call on gameday.
  • We will have a cancellation policy of 72 hours before game. No refunds after that point.

We will be offering fundraising games for two other A's games this season. Contact me mlok@thespotoakland.org for more details.
