This offseason for the A's, is like a dormant volcano. Just waiting for something to burst. Now, I don't want to sound ungrateful but, I'd just expect at least one good player signing to come to the green and gold. What we have right now is pretty good. Adding to our major league roster Chris Young, and Chris Resop. The rest of the players who joined the A's, via FA signing, ST invitee are nothing to pull your head over your covers with. I'm not expecting a big name, maybe like a Todd Frazier type player to back up Scott Sizemore every once in awhile. Possibly, that anchor to lead our starting rotation in James McDonald nothing to break the bank over. What did Billy mean we've set up trades? Which players should and will go? How do you know these group of A's haven't hit themselves into that sophomore slump? A lot of you might be saying, "Most of these players have had more than a year experience" I'm referring to these core of players have been together for one magical season, in 2012. Summing down the big acquisitions of the mighty, AL West, Houston shocked the world (okay, me anyway) by signing Carlos Pena. The Yankees of California, A.K.A. the slegnA acquired the mighty, powerhouse of Josh Hamilton, adding depth to their rotation, with Joe Blanton, Jason Vargas and firearm set up men, Sean Burnett and Ryan Madson. Are neighbors in the Northwest, added some good offense in Jason Bay, and Kendrys Morales. The competition is getting fierce and the A's need to make that one, big splash that Billy's been talking about. Strengthing up our offense is a must, we have the pitching. We need that last piece of the puzzle. Thanka, fellow ANers, for reading. Please comment, below.
