Dear A's fans (my brothers and sisters-in-arms)
While you're like me anxiously waiting for baseball season to begin again, if you're also fans of the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rocket and/or Jeremy Lin, here's a way to fulfill all of those at once. The Warriors are playing the Rockets twice in Oakland, once in February and once in March.
In March OCA-East Bay and San Francisco, Chapters of a National Asian American civil rights organization, are selling tickets to the game on Friday, March 8th 7:30pm at the Oracle Arena.
Tickets are $31 for the Club 200 Level, and a portion of the tickets sales will go to OCA-San Francisco (https://www.facebook.com/OCASF) and The Spot Oakland Chinatown Youth Center (www.thespotoakland.org)
Included in this offer is entry into a drawing where you can participate in the High Five Fan Tunnel where you can high five the players as they run out to the court! (Only Youth 18 & under may participate)
To order tickets you can online to www.warriors.com/oca (password: warriors) or contact Warriors rep Nick Smith at (510) 986-2247 or via email at nsmith@warriors.com.
If for some reason you can't make it to the game but would still like to support, we'd encourage you to perhaps sponsor tickets so that local youth leaders could attend. Contact Mike Lok (mlok@thespotoakland.org) for more information.
