Holiday hangover delays Mr. October (jk!!!)

Hey everyone, as all of you (or not) have noticed, it's been awhile since I posted a A's transaction. Then again, it's not like I'm swamped with new players to tell you about. Let's make it easy for all of us, by making the info, easy to read: The A's signed 1B Scott Moore from our division rivals (when I'd think I'd say that?) the Houston Astros, with the 2 man band manning first base (Chris Carter and Brandon Moss) he's going to have to impress the team in the Arizona heat, during ST. Bullpen help just got a lot stronger with the acquisition of former Bucs' reliever, Chris Resop. The A's decided to send minor leaguer, Zack Thornton in exchange. According to MLB TR, Resop had an ERA under 4, last year. This is one of the trades I'm glad we got. This guy's amazing! Another possible man to be in the 'pen for Oakland this year, came as an ST invite. Garrett Olson, who pitched, last year in the bullpen for the Mets. One more issue I'd like to discuss, is the A's long search for a SS. I mean I love this time of year, in baseball. Seeing how good our team can get, via trades, FA signings. Stephen Drew, whom, if we signed would cost $10 million, just for 1 year. If I was Billy Beane, I wouldn't want to talk about Stephen Drew returning to Oakland. What options are out there, though? Jhonny Peralta, Asdrubal Cabrera, are a few options (the latter I'd love to see in Oakland, next year, even if it means trading one of our guys. What do you think? Please post comments guys, I'd really appreciate it. My New Years' resolution is to not get hungover in the holidays (jk, got you again) or when the next acquisition happens. See you guys, later!
