I'm assuming that most of the people reading this blog happen to be Oakland A's fans. What a coincidence... I am too! I'm also guessing that most of you have at least one Oakland A's-related item on your holiday wish list. I'd love to know what it is.

Me? I want gold. I want that sweet gold alt robe that the players were wearing during the AL West clinching celebration (I couldn't find a great photo on the SBN server, but here's a picture from the A's Twitter account). Jonny Gomes said in an interview on MLB Network that the players got the robes from SportRobe.com, but it must've been the custom order, since the only A's one on the site looks like the white home jersey.

I also wouldn't mind owning a gold alt jersey.

For the team? I want another kind of gold. More champagne. While the 2012 season can't be duplicated, I'd sure love to see them try.
