As Jane Lee tweets, Josh Reddick has become the first Oakland A's outfielder in 27 years to win a gold glove. Reddick beat out fellow RFers Jeff "Bacon" Francoeur and Shin-Soo Choo for the honor.
Put me in the camp who feels Reddick was legitimately deserving of the award. Yes, the award and the way it is often voted, is an absolute joke, but this time they got it right. Congratulations, Josh -- just another cherry on top of this delicious 2012 A's season.
