Amazingly, with just one game remaining for the four unsettled postseason teams (Oakland, Texas, Baltimore, and New York), Oakland can be either the #1 seed, the #2 seed, Wildcard #1, or Wildcard #2. Indeed, there is one scenario where if Oakland had to play in the wildcard game, it would not know where it would be playing until after a Thursday tiebreaker for the AL East.
