2013 25 man roster & getting ahead of ourselves

I know the playoffs are still going on and people are happy to still be watching baseball. But for me, the season ended last week and all I can think about is who's going to be on the 2013 25 man roster?

This is how the 2012 season roster ended up looking:

IF: C: Norris/Kottaras, 1B: Carter/Moss, 2B: Pennington, SS: Drew, 3B: Donaldson, Utility: Rosales

OF: LF: Cespedes, CF: Crisp, RF: Reddick, DH: Gomes/Smith

SP: Anderson, Parker, Milone,: Griffin, Blackley

RP: Balfour, Cook, Doolittle, Blevins, Neshek, Schribner, Figueroa

Although this was one of the many rosters that got us to the playoffs, I see need to upgrade places. Guys are coming back from injury (Sizemore), guys are coming back as free agents (Gomes/Inge), guys are forcing a promotion or at least need honest looks before writing them off (Taylor/Cowgil).

I for one think that we need to address the catcher situation. I'm not sold on Norris being a starting catcher at least yet. We also have the middle infield to address, the potential mid-season trade of Coco, Seth Smith or whoever else we have redundancy at, and the bullpen to shore up.

Looking at the potential free agents on the market, who do you think we should go after? A starting rotation of Anderson, McCarthy, Parker, Milone & Griffin sounds pretty solid with Strailey, Peacock, Gray, etc. waiting for someone to get hurt. Sizemore can move over to 2B, or can we train him to play SS & not pick up Drew's option? Penny can fill in until Sizemore can pick it up. Maybe make him a utility infielder until then. Inge said he wants to come back. Weeks has a lot of competition to get his 2B job back. Are there other teams out there in need of the prospects we can't bring up due to the log jam in our OF.
