The A's put up a near-perfect game last night to extend the series to Game 4. Can A.J. Griffin channel his own Brett Anderson and keep the hard-hitting Tigers off the board for a second straight game to extend the ALDS to a winner-take-all Game 5?

Well, this is IT, it. The A's have to score 2 runs to tie the game before the Tigers get the last three outs. Moss left two runner on in the last inning, so the A's have had chances, if not very few. This is it! This is the season!
The Tigers have scored again, so the A's need to do better than the 3 hits they currently have. Here's to an A's rally; we go to the bottom of the eighth; A's trailing 3-1.
Well, the A's got one back and knocked Scherzer out of the game in the process. A coaching error also got a runner thrown out at third with no one out, but we aren't dwelling; we are SCORING! Bottom of the seventh.
The A's got runners as far as first and third last inning, but couldn't score them. Meanwhile, Blevins finished off the Tigers, and we're going to the bottom of the sixth. Tigers are leading 2-0, and we're going to see what magic the A's have left.
Bad news for our heroes. A.J. Griffin has allowed 2 runs to the powerful Tigers, as he danced in and out of trouble in the first four innings. The A's, their first time through the lineup, have exactly 1 hit, and have struck out 5 times. They badly badly, badly need a run.
