Keep it going in 2013

For the past couple of weeks, I've had the luxury of going to Game 1 of the ALDS, 3 of the last 4 games of the regular season to see the A’s clinch the playoffs and then take the AL west crown, and a hand full of games in September. Every game I went, it seemed as more and more people were showing up. And selling out the Coli has been epic.

Although I’ve seen some bandwagon fans jump on, it’s been noticed that a lot of the fans seem to be "authentic" A’s fan (sorry CSN). Maybe they’ve been away for a while, mad at Lew; maybe life happened and they couldn’t make a trip out to the yard; maybe they had 1 of a million reasons they didn’t go.

Starting 2013, that all needs to change. If we can pack the house on a Wednesday afternoon, we should be able to fill at least most of the stadium on a regular basis. The tickets are definitely cheap enough. And one of these days the A’s will move into a shiny new stadium somewhere. Wherever that may be prices will go up. If you want to see your Athletics thrive and fill the seats with
actual fans, go to games. Take your kids to games. Take your friends to games.

In 2013, I would like to set up AN BBQ Terrace days. You need at least 20 people (which I’m sure we can get) and it starts at $50/person (much cheaper than a suite). Depending on what we want to eat and drink the price will go up, but still a great value. Until then, keep packing the Coli. GO A’S!!!

LET’S GO OAKLAND! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!
