1:30-1:45 p.m. Shortstop Cliff Pennington and pitcher Brandon McCarthy
1:45-2:00 p.m. Outfielder Josh Reddick and pitcher Brad Peacock
Please note that outfielder Seth Smith will be replacing pitcher Brad Peacock during our 1:45-2:00 p.m. session
On Saturday, at the Oakland A's FanFest, yours truly will be interviewing the above
A's at the Bloggers interview.
So, as I prepare questions, I want to be the one guy in the room that asks the unconventional
questions, and thus, I turn to you, my wonderful AN family.
If you could ask these guys any question, what would it be?
The best questions will be asked, so it will be just like you were there. Except, you won't; it
will be me :)

Have you talked with Matt Holliday about making the transition from the Mile High City to Oakland? It seemed to adversely affect Holiday. What steps are you taking to prevent a similar loss in your offensive output?

Do you feel any pressure coming into 2012 as the reigning AL FIP leader? Think you can repeat?

There was a large drop-off in your stolen base attempts from 2010 to 2011. Will this be a continuing trend in 2012 or will there be more of a green light on the basepaths?

There is a popular notion among fans that managers are afraid to use unconventional strategies for fear of media ridicule, and possibly even job termination if the plan backfires. What is the craziest baseball strategy you’ve wanted to try, and under what circumstance would you be willing to implement said strategy?
Optional Add-On: Suggest a strategy. Maybe reinstate the 70’s A’s pinch runner bench spot?
in earlier fan fests there were several "interview" sessions
each sessions had a number of players and staff (including Beane in one). They took questions from anyone in the audience.
