It was fun!! I love Raley Field.
Today was a doubleheader, which we split. In the second game, Kouz hits a walk- off homer!! I had to say nice things about him then. Cardenas almost got the cycle. His almost HR was only about 3 ft. short. Flashfire took some awesome (as usual) pics. If he wanders in -perhaps he’ll post a link?

I tried putting these in public Facebook galleries since I doubt I’ll have my full game stuff done until sometime tomorrow.

Thanks, DrK!
I felt like I was there!
So cool that you got to go and you had an awesome time with our AN friends!
I had a lot of fun with everyone yesterday, I'm glad that you all put up with my crazy hypothetical questions and goofy stories.......
But I still want to know what happens if an inning never ends, what happens? This is a very important question!
There is no A in OFFENSE!!
Looks like alot of fun
How close does the train get you to the ballpark and/ or the hotel?

The Amtrak station is at 5th and I Street
I stayed at the Holiday Inn at 3rd and J, and Raley Field is about a 15-20 minutes walk from there. There’s also a pedestrian walkway from the station directly into Old Sacramento, which is good for bypassing the traffic exiting I-5.
I don't feel that I'm feeling your feelings, about these feelings that you feel.

Fun chatting during the game
And looking through those media guides.
(I found A’s media guides in the River Cats team store from 1997 and 2003 for $1 apiece, so I bought them)

Also went through all the pics
Old Sacramento’s kind of nice for what it is.
How long do you think it took to get from the Coliseum area to Sacramento?

1 hour 30+ or so I would think; no traffic
I’m actually heading out to see the Rivercat this coming Saturday

Not bad
Though I guess it might be a little late to use coming back to Sacramento from a night game.

It's about 2 hours from the Coliseum Station to Sacramento
The slowest part is from around Pinole to Benicia. Union Pacific keeps the train speeds down in this area – I’m guessing due to traffic concerns. Also, Capitol Corridor service only works for day games unless you plan to make a vacation out if and spend the night in Oakland.
I don't feel that I'm feeling your feelings, about these feelings that you feel.
And of course, this is a reply-fail to Flashfire

Also a great time!
This is a not to miss annual event.
Thanks BJ for organizing. My friend Laura and I were at Friday only, not the double header on Sat.
wacchamps – your ideas were fun and I did not mind sitting directly behind you. I could look over your shoulder, big guy, because you sit still and look forward at the game during every play – what a concept! What bugs me is people who lean and wriggle and turn their heads every which way and stand up at crucial moments. That happens with folks who are not there with any commitment to the game of baseball but having a lovely chatty day out so in those cases I try to relocate.
It was v nice to sit next to ZigFan31 – thanks for not fearing my very hot coffee in the cup holder by your bare toes. After a screaming line drive to the leg and that monster bruise, I guess a little Maui Wowee coffee is no threat.
On my other side was my not-AN friend baseball pal Laura, who had her leg in an air-cast after falling on rubble on a medical mission in Haiti last month! Laura is my Silver Slugger buddy, two spritely older gals who love to support the Stockton Ports at their Wednesday home games.
Just setting out now to the Rivercats Monday game.

Have fun and get us a WIN!!
