Michael Choice having an impressive July in Stockton

After yesterday's game, a 13-3 victory over Visalia, Choice's line for the month of July looks like this:

.444/.487/.903/1.390, with 9 HRs and 21 RBIs in 17 games, riding a 17 game hitting streak. Most importantly, his BB/SO rate is 6/16 (still high, but a huge improvement from the beginning of the season) and a 22.22% of SO% of their ABs (72)

Is he ready for Midland? Sacramento? I believe that this month is a prove that he has nothing else to prove in Stockton, and needs a promotion.

The most encouraging stat is the cut on his SO rate, generating better contact and making him a better hitter overall, comparing him to the numbers at the beggining of the season.

Also, his improvement has been constant through the season (improving his AVG and OPS every month, before his July explosion) so I believe July numbers are not just a streak.

There is only 2 months left for Minor League Baseball (including Playoffs) so I think the A's need to promote him before the end of July.
