Inter Milan tabella


In 1971, in the italian soccer Champioship, at the end of the first half, Milan were ahead af Inter  seven point that, in that italian soccer, who awarded every victory two points, was considered like ten games of advantage in baseball. The Inter manager, Giovanni Invernizzi, looked at the schedule of the 15 games to play and wrote una “famosa tabella”. Inter won Championship. A “tabella” like this:

A reason for hope:

Rangers, Angels and Mariners will have the same results in percentage of the first half of the season. So they’ll be, without considering ball games versus A’s, 85-68, 83-69 and 72-81. Here the winning schedule of the A’s:
