I grew up in Oakland.. I feel so displaced now without A’s baseball lol.
Theyre more interested in College football recruiting during the summer here than Baseball… It’s sorta sad and shows how one dimensional the state is as far as sports go (less you’re in Portland, and you have rigged basketball to watch lol)

In the last week my dogs have brought me the following:
a dead kitten, a deer leg (presumably dead), three turtles (presumably alive), and two snakes (one dead, one alive). I’m scared to go outside.
Yup. The two small ones. The big boy doesn't mess around with those things.
He once brought us a baby bunny in his mouth, but it was alive.
He likes to come in the house and lay in the floor under the ceiling fan.
He’s getting old, so my mom allows it. He’s also allergic to GRASS, which is awful for a dog.
I like small dogs.
Not ones that are small enough to be carried around in a purse or bag, though — not that I would do that anyway.
But really, I like big dogs too. I love dogs.

However, between my mother’s shi tzu (Sweetie Pie) and my ex-wife’s chiweenie (Saydie Wigglebutt), I have learned that I can love little dogs, too.

Really didn’t like it, but I don’t care for the turkey/chicken hot dogs anyway.
I did have access to one of their nicer club areas and they had some pretty good stuff in there.

One of these days, just to cover all the California ballparks.
I’m not kidding when I say Raley Field has some of the better ballpark food I’ve had anywhere.

It's a totally different environment, really
But a lot of the newer places have done a good job of having some local-type stuff, or at least things on the menu that aren’t your typical burgers/hot dogs/etc. stuff.
I had a decent cheesesteak in Philly. St. Louis had a Hardee’s (Carl’s Jr. to us). I didn’t get the chance to try anything really Pittsburgh-specific but they had some stuff too.
In the minors, there’s more flexibility with what can be offered. It’s on a smaller scale, even if it’s run by general vendors like in the bigs, but the minors definitely have room to play with different ideas.

Actually, after living in Albuquerque, I prefer humidity to dry heat.
Of course, for me hot is hot. That being the case, I hate when it’s dry and I sweat and build up a salty crust on my skin. Plus, my lips tend to chap and crack open and bleed. It’s not pretty.
It's so humid right now that even with an air temp of 81, the A/C is running non-stop.
And I don’t think it’s just mine. The lights are flickering, so I think everyone’s keeps running. Today, when it was 98, my car was warm inside even with the A/C at full blast for over an hour.
