Hey Folks,

The Ann M. Martin Center is having a fundraiser at the A's - Yankees Game on Monday May 30th at 1:05pm. The ticket benefits an awesome cause and gets you up close and personal with Mr. October.  

The ticket is $600 dollars (tax deductible), and includes the game and lunch in the A's owner's box with Reggie Jackson.  Reggie will be hosting lunch, signing autographs, and taking pictures. The link for the event is here:

The Ann M. Martin Center does amazing work throughout Alameda County for at-risk youth with learning disabilities autism, and other special needs.  The Center works with children all over, and has programs at several elementary schools in Oakland.  Having taught at a public middle school in Oakland, I can't tell you how important their services can be for the life of a child who is facing difficult life and educational challenges.

I know this is an expensive event, but it really is for a great cause.  I am hoping some of you out there in the Athletics Nation will be willing to dig deep and spring for a ticket.  And of course you'll get the pleasure of watching the game with Reggie Jackson.
